Dear friends,

do you like gummy bears, squidgy strawbs, liquorice or rather marsh mellows? Leipzig based producer Littlelake kicks off on Brombért with an EP, that has it all in its paper sleeve. “Mixed Bag” is a four tracker, which sounds like taking your sugar overdose from the candy store straight to your favourite warehouse party.

With “Long Time Ago” and its gravitational drive, the funky lucidity of “Another Lovesong”, the splendid walking bass of “Padang Padang” or swinging sawtooth anthem “Yam Bean”, “Mixed Bag” is a typical Brombért-Release: rich in detail, engineered rigorously, nevertheless it always has a couple of screws loose. As Littlelake puts it himself: “Brombért looks a bit odd, but he’s actually very nice.”

Physical release comes with handcrafted, screen printed artwork by fabulous graphic artist Zatina Kessl.
